2027 poster contest resources for schools and families

Contest information, receiving addresses and the printable entry form:
https://beneaththesea.us/ocean-pals/poster-contest/

Posters must be received by February 12, 2027. Allow time for school
selection, completing the entry form and delivery to the regional contact.

Start with contest-information.pdf for the rules, eligibility, grade
divisions and awards. Students enter through a school or homeschool setting.
Each setting may submit up to four selected posters in each grade division.
The rules explain how a homeschool household or cooperative is counted.

This kit contains:

contest-information.pdf
The contest rules, participation requirements, regional delivery
instructions, student awards and teacher award.

school-announcement.pdf
A one-page announcement to print for classrooms, art rooms, libraries,
school bulletin boards and take-home folders.

shark-learning-companion.pdf
A one-page shark-learning activity with facts, discussion questions,
poster-making and links to supporting NOAA resources. It can also be
  used independently of the contest.

promo-square.png
A 1080 × 1080 graphic for school and community social channels.

promo-landscape.png
A 1600 × 900 graphic for school websites, newsletters and presentation
screens. Both graphics display the contest information address.

educator-newsletter-copy.txt
Long and short newsletter text, family email and social copy for schools
and homeschool settings to share with students and families.

educator-outreach.txt
An invitation to teachers, principals, art and science departments,
homeschool educators and educator networks. Includes the teacher award.

The one-page entry form is a separate download:

Fill the entry fields on a computer or by hand. Print the form, obtain the
required signatures and dates, and attach it as instructed to the poster.

Choose the message for your audience and adapt its greeting or local school
details. Keep the contest requirements, deadline and links unchanged.
The teacher award belongs in educator outreach; the family copy focuses
on students and the contest.

The illustration was created for Ocean Pals. Share the supplied contest
graphics with their contest message intact. Third-party photographs or
other materials on linked websites are not included in this kit.
