This is an intensive, hands-on workshop that’s perfect for Lightroom newbies, or for basic users wanting to take their skills to the next level. Participants need a laptop running the most recent version of Lightroom Classic that their operating system can handle, and at least one external hard drive. Please bring all appropriate power sources, adapters, and cables, and make sure your gear is in good working order.

Lightroom Classic must be installed and tested. We will not have time to address individual technical issues. The Bootcamp includes a 16GB flash drive pre-loaded with class work files, and a 50-page spiral-bound workbook.

We’ll be using Lightroom Classic only. We do not cover web-based versions of Lightroom.

Dirty Tricks Using Photoshop

When
– 4:00 p.m.
Presenter
Erin Quigley
Capacity

Lightroom is incredibly powerful, but it’s no match for the Dark Arts in Photoshop. Abracadabra! Backscatter disappears like magic, the crop tool creates extra space and fills it in perfectly, and divers appear out of thin air to populate every empty composition. Add AI to the mix and things get really wild in fantastic, addictive, and insanely useful ways. Learn how to channel Photoshop’s wicked superpowers for good and a little bit of evil too. If you’d like to work along, bring your laptop with Photoshop 2024 or later installed. Practice files provided.
