Exhibitor guide
Exhibitor Essentials
Ten practical ideas to help your team prepare early, welcome visitors, and carry useful conversations beyond the show.
- Start early.Allow time for travel, lodging, shipping, booth services, signs, media, and staffing.
- Use the Decorator Kit when it is released. The Decorator Kit describes tables, electric service, and other items that can be ordered for your booth. It also describes shipping requirements and will be available closer to the show.
- Choose useful measures.Decide what success means for your organization. Leads, meetings, bookings, sales, revenue, and return on investment are examples.
- Make the exhibit understandable.Use a clear headline, a strong visual, and one simple reason for a visitor to stop.
- Prepare conversation starters.Give booth staff several open questions that help them learn what a visitor needs.
- Align the team.Review responsibilities, schedules, appearance, product knowledge, offers, and the next step for an interested visitor.
- Let people know you will be there.Consider email, social media, appointments, or demonstrations that include your booth number and a clear reason to visit.
- Choose a contact-capture method. If lead capture matters to you, provide a suitable method and a simple backup.
- Be inviting.Keep the front of the exhibit open, make eye contact, and avoid creating a barrier between staff and visitors.
- Follow up promptly.Send a relevant recap while the conversation is still familiar, ideally within a few days of the show.
